MOZILLA FIREFOX ??????????

i have got Mozilla firefox and on the top bar where there is two arrows for forward and back aren't working they aren't green just blank please help how do i get them working again i have tried installing it again but it still doesn't work

1. After you uninstalled it, you have to reboot before you reinstall.
2. Right-click on the blank space and select Customize... Then add the arrows back in.
3. Stupid question here... but the arrows only work after you have followed a link from a page. When you first open the browser, they are greyed out. the "forward" button ONLY works if you have used the "back" button. Each time a new tab is opened up, (or the browser started) there is no place to "go back to" until you have clicked on something and gone "forward" to it. Same goes with the forward button, if you haven't gone back, there is no place to go "forward to" If you are opening a site that uses "Frames" even if you DO click on something, you might not be able to go "back" try going to yahoo.com, click on a news story or something, THEN try going back.
4. uninstall first, restart reinstall from a new download, cross your fingers, restart A) if works, send me 10 points B) if still does not work, goto pub.
